Building on two decades of sensor tech and graphene research, Sensfit uses an innovative architectural design of overlaid smart sensors with graphene ink to provide a highly adaptive sensor platform able to analyse real time data on force, pressure, physical movement, activity, balance, gait and its pathologies.

Graphene is atomically thin layer carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal honeycomb structure. Graphene’s unique electrical properties make it an ideal choice for sensors in many applications.

The atomic and electronic structure of graphene allow sensing the changes occur in the surroundings. With multifunctional properties, graphene sensor could measure moisture, pressure, strains, gases, temperature, magnetic field, light, etc. With latest advances, graphene allows for the development of micro sensors enabling the detection of individual events on a molecular level. In healthcare, graphene enables cheap, lightweight and mechanically compliant sensors that show high sensitivity to monitor bodily position, velocity and acceleration
